“Anyone can come in and watch,” Cliff Dye tells Neandra Etienne
Plashet Park Bowls Club has had mixed fortunes since the outdoor bowling season started in May, but President and Captain Cliff Dye is confident of another successful season.
Last year, Plashet won six league and county group cups and with trophy winning years in the past, the Manor Park based club is a force to be reckoned with. Plashet Park prides itself on being a multicultural club which has paved the way for other bowls clubs to follow suit.
Cliff told Newham Voices: “Anyone can come in and watch. We are always looking for new members. We have home matches in August on Tuesday 13th, and Tuesday 20th.”
