Social Spider Community CIC are the publishers of Newham Voices. We are a small social enterprise that publishes community newspapers. We don’t have shareholders or big financial backers. We are a not-for-profit organisation.
Newham Voices is written and edited by a team of local volunteers.
Every month we print and distribute 12,750 free copies of the paper in Newham.
The money to write, produce and distribute Newham Voices and to run the website comes from:
- Advertising in print and online
- Supporters who take out monthly subscriptions
- Donations from readers
We get an amazing amount done but things are very tight.
