The kit is inspired by the 1960s, writes Neandra Etienne
West Ham United’s new 2024/25 Umbro Home Kit is inspired by the club’s 1960s era. The 2024/25 season marks the 60th anniversary of West Ham United’s European Winners’ Cup triumph. The film to launch the kit features cameos from 1965 Cup Winners’ Cup-winning legend Brian Dear, Roberta Moore, daughter of Bobby Moore, and current players Jarrod Bowen and George Earthy.
The Hammers played a friendly against Crystal Palace on 4th August and Celta Vigo on 10th August. Their opening Premier League game is at home against Aston Villa on 17th August. The club’s game against Manchester City on 31st August is scheduled to be broadcast live by Sky Sports. The club begin their Carabao Cup challenge at the second round stage in the week commencing 26 August.
