Dancing City featuring 12 free dance events from homegrown and international talent comes to Stratford for a one day celebration of contemporary dance.

Highlights include Yoann Bourgeois Arts Company’s gravity-defying masterpiece Touch, East London Dance and Patois, a new show that takes a Caribbean dialect and explores hidden voices and stories from generations past. Jeanefer Jean-Charles created the dance theatre work to celebrate her St Lucian heritage – coinciding with St Lucia’s first Olympic gold medal!

This year’s dance takeover takes place in the Town Centre, Stratford Cross, East Bank and the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park on 7th September.
