Plaistow fire station raised over £500 for Firefighters Charity, reports Neandra Etienne

Fire-fighters from Plaistow fire station were on hand to make cars sparkle during a car wash event on 14 April, with donations going towards The Fire Fighters Charity. They raised £562.01 for the charity that provides support and rehabilitation to the fire and rescue community.
The Car Wash event, which is firmly established on the fire and rescue service calendar, also gives fire-fighters the opportunity to share important community safety advice with the community
