Caryn Franklin MBE advocates for a fashion industry that embraces diversity and dismantles harmful mind-sets, reports Neandra Etienne

Caryn’s talk event The Power of One, on April 16, will explore the dynamics of bias and stereotyping within fashion and highlight how internalised stories about identity shape our perceptions and interactions.
Caryn, a fashion and identity commentator of 40 years with an MSc Applied Psychology, has engaged with mental health and body image experts, MPs and government officials.
This talk event is about bringing about change. Caryn will challenge you to confront the biases rooted within society and also empower you to become agents of positive transformation.
Caryn has collaborated on projects with international design talent, everyday fashion users and refugees in battle zones.
