A familiar face for West Ham Park visitor is recognised

Angela Caroo, a familiar face for people visiting the cafe she runs in West Ham Park on summer days, rubbed shoulders with royalty in October when she received her MBE from Princess Anne.

She celebrated with her family at the O12 bar and restaurant in Stratford. Her award, announced in the King’s honours list, is in recognition of her tremendous support for charitable work challenging poverty and supporting children in Newham.
