Green Street library are having some children’s activities and events during half-term and the weekend. Jubilee Weekend at the Holly Tree, Forest Gate
The celebrations starts with their fun and popular Drag Bingo hosted by LaLa Queen & Little Miss HUNshine in the beer garden. Booking is essential! Go to their website to secure your place. Just put ‘BINGO’ in the notes.

West Ham Park: Children’s Planting Workshop
Friends of West Ham Park are offering children the opportunity to get involved in a bit of gardening to help kick off the Jubilee celebrations. Children can decorate a plant pot with their own design and then plant it up with a tiny seedling, take part in workshops and colour their own FWHP badge. Accompanying adults may wish to be shown around the Community Garden

The Great Britannia Garden Party, E16
Celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee with fun games on Britannia Village Green. Activities include crazy golf, face painting and mural making. There will also be a Bake off competition. Just bake a cake at home and bring it along to The Great Britannia Garden Party.

Jubilee Jam in Abbey Gardens E15
Abbey Gardens are hosting an afternoon of crafting, natural dyeing with CND Studio, yoga from Kim Beech (kimyoga.moveinsideflow) with food from Spring Café Garden and the community. A Right Royal Docks Jamboree
This event features grime artists, world-class ballet dancers, sculptors, painters, Newham’s moving market, footballers, a 25-boat flotilla, street parties and a free concert called A Royal Docks Knees Up.
Thames Dragon Boat Club will be involved in the flotilla of boats transporting the Queens Baton from the Royal Victoria Dock to the end of Royal Albert Dock, as it makes its way to the Birmingham Commonwealth Games. Sunday 5 June, From 2.30pm, Royal Docks

Custom House Bookshop are hosting a community street party with face painting, bouncy castle, community quiz, board games and art and crafts. Please bring food to share.
