All-abilities Clapton CFC Cricket team beat NMCC (North Middlesex Cricket Club) to win their game with 2 wickets and 4 balls to spare. After more than ten defeats this achievement is a much needed victory for the team.

New Vic Sports Academy Cricket team are the regional winners in the AoC T20 Regional cricket Championships. The team will now compete in the National Semi-finals in Derby June 23, 2021. In 2020, NewVic launched a Women’s Cricket Academy with Essex County Cricket enabling students to play and develop their skills.

Clapton CFC have partnered with Renaissance FC, a Hackney based football team who aid refugees through sport. Clapton CFC women and non-binary people beginners’ team are planning a joint tournament with Renaissance FC.

Clapton CFC Men’s Development team preseason training starts 4 July at Hackney Marshes.

Athletic Newham FC plays in the Essex Senior Football League Premier Division. The club has released the fixture list for their July pre-season football games.
