Wild West-inspired Phanton Peak, currently based at Canada Water, will now be moving to the Stratford shopping centre, reports Nick Clark, Local Democracy Reporter

A “steampunk-inspired” Wild West “immersive world” could open at Westfield in Stratford this summer after getting councillors’ backing.
Councillors in Newham voted to grant the venue planning approval on Tuesday (10th).
Developers said they wanted to build a “steampunk-inspired, Western-style immersive world”.
Councillors were told that Westfield would play host to Phanton Peak, which is currently based at Canada Water in Southwark. Planning agents said that, if plans are approved, the Stratford shopping centre would become its permanent home.
They described Phantom Peak as an “immersive show with a cast of residents of a Wild West town” where visitors take part in an “app-based adventure game”.
They added that this would involve “solving a bunch of puzzles” and interacting with actors playing Wild West characters.
Phantom Peak’s website says guests can “go on quests with live actors, uncover secrets, and shape your own story”.
It says activities involve “solving murders, framing guys and maybe even turning a platypus into a meat cube”.
It adds: “You’ll go on a series of trails, where you’ll be tasked with helping the townsfolk. You’ll need to find clues on noticeboards, watch videos, interact with technology and speak to characters to progress.”
Tickets listed on the website start from £42.
Planning agents said that each show would last four hours and that the venue would serve food and alcoholic drinks.
The venue aims to open until 2am, but Westfield’s planning agents said they expect the final shows to end at 10pm or 11pm.
Plans submitted to the council say Phantom Peak would open at Chestnut Plaza in Westfield, in a unit currently occupied by the Gravity Max arcade.
Phantom Peak’s website says its Canada Water venue is set to close on Saturday, 28th February, and that it expects to open in the Westfield in “summer 2026”.
