Newham Voices was invited to attend the press performance of Lovestuck, a new musical romcom inspired by true events, that’s entertaining but also empowering.

Lucy and Peter are looking for love. They match and after some chatting they have their first date and that’s when Lucy’s life gets turned upside down literally, because she finds herself stuck upside-down – in Peter’s bathroom window.

Lovestuck, with narration from Alison Steadman, is conceived and written by James Cooper, with direction by Jamie Morton and music by triple-platinum singer-songwriter Bryn Christopher with Martin Batchelar.

The production premiered at Stratford East and runs until 12 July at Stratford East
