Workshops, talks, and events spotlight efforts to combat domestic abuse until International Human Rights Day.

A 16-day programme of events supported by Newham Council to combat the scourge of domestic abuse is continuing until 10 December – International Human rights Day.
The programme, in co-operation with local partners, includes workshops, advice stalls and online talks. Everyone who lives and works in the Borough over the age of 16 can take part.
On 7 December, at Canning Town Library, 18 Rathbone Market, from 11.30am-3pm, there will be an in-person celebration of local actions to combat domestic abuse. Light refreshments will be provided and a crèche on hand for children.
