Olympic Athletes attended a mentoring event, held at the Stratford based London Aquatics Centre, for 45 aspiring athletes.
The mentoring event, hosted by Colin Jackson and panelists taekwondo athlete Lutalo Muhammad and sprinter Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, coincided with the opening ceremony of the Paris Paralympic Games.
The Olympic medalists all serve as mentors in Everyone Active’s Sporting Champions programme, a nationwide initiative aimed at developing and supporting promising young athletes across the country. Everyone Active manages the London Aquatics Centre at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in partnership with the London Legacy Development Corporation.
