Idris Elba has been nominated in the Emmys/Television Academy Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series category for his role in the Apple+ drama Hijack. Idris, who went to school in Newham, told his social media followers: “I love being a creative and honestly, I do it for love not gratification BUT!!! It feels great when love gets shown at this level, at any level tbh.”
