Clapton CFC has set up a team for men over 35 and are looking to set up a similar team for women. It’s a community-based, fan-funded initiative run by volunteers.

The team trains weekly at Chobham Academy. They plan to build the team over the 2024/2025 season and hope to enter a league from next year. Clapton CFC over 35s have started playing friendly games against other teams from East and North East London.

The first game against Castle FC from Walthamstow Village finished with a 6:0 win to Clapton CFC. On 7th September they played an away game against Ryan FC.

Clapton CFC is happy to play friendly matches against any other Over 35s teams. If interested, please email them on: clapton.over35s@gmail.com
