Arkwood appointed by Newham Council to restore Forest Lane Park

The company will not only restore Forest Lane Park, but it will also co-design a new statue of the community activist Lucel Tate, reports Neandra Etienne.

The landscape architecture company Arkwood has been appointed by Newham Council to restore Forest Lane Park and co-design a new statue of the community activist Lucel Tate. Local residents and community groups are invited to be involved in the project by contributing to the oral history of the park and taking part in a design workshop. 14 September, 10am-12pm, Forest Lane Park.
