Barking Road Recreation Ground will host the best of Senegambia and West African Culture this bank holiday weekend, reports Neandra Etienne
Yaram Arts presents the annual Gambia, Senegambia and Africa in the Park Cultural Weekend festival.
Njok Malik Jeng, the Artistic Director explains the meaning behind the festival, “This event celebrates the best of Senegambia and West African Culture including the most aromatic cuisine. It is a FREE family festival that features medieval West African Masquerades and contemporary musical genres.”
Yaram Arts, an African led music development agency, specialise in programming and touring African artists and reaching black new audiences.
