Four fire engines were called to a ground floor flat on Central Park Road

Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a fire at a semi detached house converted into flats on Central Park Road in East Ham.
Part of a ground floor flat was damaged by the fire. Two people left the flat before firefighters arrived. They were taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service crews suffering from smoke inhalation.
The Brigade’s Control Officers received nine calls about the fire,
The Brigade was called at 1523 and the fire was extinguished by 1622. Crews from Dockhead, Dowgate, Plaistow and Woodford fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
