Newham will celebrate the arrival of HMT Windrush across the month of June, reports Neandra Etienne
Newham Windrush event programme will honour Caribbean heritage and culture in Newham, while also remembering the arrival of HMT Empire Windrush in 1948. The programmes feature: Windrush Dance and Painting Workshop, Windrush Day Fair and a Windrush Showcase with Carroll Thompson.
Events are held at venues around the Borough.
