Newham based Agewell drama group to perform Breadline a play set in a food bank, reports Neandra Etienne

Jazanne Arts have come together with Newham-based Agewell drama group, an amateur drama group of Newham residents that has been going for nearly 10 years, to write and perform Breadline an original new social drama.
Breadline tells the true stories about people living in hard times through, poetry, movement and photos.
Newham Voices reporter and founder of Agewell drama group Zhenreenah plays Jayne, she told Newham Voices: “The play has some twists and turns with different types of issues affecting the local community.”
Zhenreenah, who has lived in Newham since she arrived from Jamaica in 1967, is extremely proud to be part of Breadline she said, “I would like to thank Jazanne Arts for all their support instilling in us the confidence to enjoy the love of performing.
Also thanks to all the cast of Agewell drama group and members of the local community who supported us at the last minute.”
