Panel discussions and performances showed the best of Newham in February, reports Neandra Etienne


Residents joined Mayor Rokhsana Fiaz and Newham’s cultural leaders for the Newham Loves Creatives event at Old Town Hall, Stratford, produced by Newham Culture Producer Faizan on 15th February. The event included a commissioned performance from local Newham creatives and a panel discussion with Director East Bank Tamsin Ace, Dr. Gus Casely-Hayford Director of the new V&A East museum, Head of Cultural Programmes and Partnerships Royal Docks Kate Anderson, and the Mayor, hosted by Priscilla from The New Black Film Collective.
Newham Loves Creatives is a series of free live events that explore the cultural developments in Newham and what they mean for local residents and visitors to the Borough.
