Support offered for older people seeking financial assistance.
By Peter Landman

Older people looking for support with their heating and energy bills and help in making sense of transport opportunities should take their place at the next meeting of the Older Persons Reference Group, the open public forum for older people, on Thursday 8 February , 12.30pm at St John’s Church Stratford.
In her January Newsletter, Grace Patient, Age UK’s East London Reference Group Coordinator, reminds readers about the Age UK home energy checks for people coming out of hospital, and their priority services register.
She goes on to advise of help with form filling available at local libraries and at Community Links, Ascension Community Trust and the Stratford Advice Arcade.
For more information contact Grace Patient 0737 505 1243 or grace.patient@ageukeastlondon.org.uk.
