Jamaica Land We Love

1962-2023- 61 years of independence

We are not sitting on the fence

We are flying high like a bird in the sky to be free

As Bob says – from captivity

Our Independence is a great pride

Our rich culture and history will never die

Our hard work over the years – we are building a nation

Always time for reflection

New infrastructure a time for celebration,

Our people, our seas, our rivers, our land

Our greatness it’s an honour to be a Jamaican

Our little country impacts the world in so many ways

Remembering the film – “Cool running” – Yeah,

Bobsleigh

We are well known for our fruits and food,

Lick your finger and feel gooood!

Our love for Reggae music – our dance

Nuff music mek we jump and prance

Our Patios, Our beautiful sunshine

Our vibrant ways – We always inna de headline

Out of many one people – it reflects our rich heritage

Our great people – Bolt, Bob, Paul Bogle, Nanny of the Maroons

Just to name a few

They paved the way for our younger generation to shine Encourage them to get off their behind

To fight the nasty war call crime

Eternal Father blesses our hand

We pray for wisdom, prosperity for our land

And so it is!
