Save the dates: Newham Council is holding two budget summits next week on Wednesday 18 January (online) and Thursday 19 January (at Stratford Town Hall).

This is your chance to have a say on the council’s 2023/2024 budget draft, which was agreed by Mayor Rokhsana Fiaz and her Cabinet last month, and is now being subject to the community’s consultation before its final version is published and ratified in February.

The two summits are open to Newham residents, councillors, local businesses, faith and community and voluntary sector partners. The events are free but you must book your place:

Wednesday 18 January, 6pm to 8.30pm

Online consultation: book your place here

Thursday 19 January, 10am to 12.30pm

In person consultation at Stratford Town Hall: book your place here

If you can’t make any of the dates above, you can still have your say via the online survey.
