The Stratford-based charity, British Bangla Welfare Trust came second in the Charity Boat Race at the Nouka Festival at Fairlop Waters on 14 August, raising money for different causes in Bangladesh.
The team joined the event for an afternoon of fun with their voluneers who came from across the UK to support them.
Nabeela Zaman, Managing Director, British Bangla Welfare Trust said:
“The volunteers are ecstatic to have left with a triumphant achievement.
This would not have been possible without the hard work behind the scenes and we are grateful to have been part of such a great event which lifted community spirits.”
