Our wishes for Newham in 2022

A community-owned pub in the heart of the borough with a great range of well- kept local beers and a welcoming space for people to come together as well as enjoy food, drink and live entertainment. Phil Mellows, pubs correspondent

A fresh start after the pandemic – more investment in jobs, young people and more opportunities for the people of Newham to have their say about the future of the Borough and particularly more action to provide people with affordable and decent homes to live in. Aidan White, Publisher, Newham Voices

I will continue to do my bit for the environment by taking my own bag along, when shopping. I have found the Council’s Zoom consultations so good that I will continue to join every time I can in 2022. Peter Landman, Newham Voices

Let’s erase the pain of lost days in the golden light of the new year. A brighter Newham, illuminated in the light of hope. Farzana Rahman, Newham Voices

The audiences they serve know less, understand less, and can do less.
