Tackling loneliness and a day to remember

A company called Mash Media every year runs an event called One Day at Christmas for the elderly and people spending Christmas alone. Usually it is held in the Midlands, but this year it’s coming to Newham. It’s a free to attend event being to be the ExCel, on Tuesday 14 December where up to 400 people will get Christmas lunch, entertainment, bingo, free transport to and from the venue and heaps of fun!

Local community groups can collect names from their area and get their residents together for a fun filled day. Covid-19 restrictions will be put in place, only allowing access to people who are fully vaccinated or provide a negative covid test 48 hours upon entry.

To get your supporters to join this great event contact Alice Kinchington on 0208 481 11 22. Mash Media promotes big media events and is also a major supporter of charities – including Macmillan Cancer Support and the Lords Taverners. Normally its One Day at Christmas is organised at the NEC Exhibition Centre near Birmingham.
