Democracy is breaking out across Newham – we have voted for the Mayoral system in a referendum and this month a permanent citizens assembly (England’s first) will meet. It’s a crucial moment in the Borough’s history and we at Newham Voices, are proud to be part of it.

We launched in the teeth of the pandemic and after almost a year we are now your established community voice – highlighting the humanity, solidarity and powerful energy of people who make Newham Britain’s most diverse and vibrant community.

But we need your support to survive. We have no corporate backers and we don’t aim to make a profit, and we have bills of around £3,000 a month to meet, so every penny you can give, no matter how small, is important.
