Newham is one of five London boroughs who have joined forces to launch an emergency Crowdfunder aimed at raising money for residents suffering financial hardship.

They are hoping to raise £10,000 by December 17. Organisers say the money awarded can sometimes mean the difference between someone eating or going without.
